The Hamburg Swimming Club (HSC) organised an exciting competition today, Sunday, which attracted swimmers from all over the region. The event lasted from 8.30 am to 5.45 pm and offered participants and spectators an eventful spectacle in the water.
With a total of 126 individual starts (no relays were swum), the diversity and commitment of the swimmers became clear. A total of 33 participants took part, of which 21 were male and 12 female swimmers.
The statistics of the club results show that the participants gave their best: 92.86% of the results were valid, 22.22% achieved first place, 14.29% second place and a further 14.29% third place. Unfortunately, 3.97% of the participants were disqualified. We have recognised points here that we need to work on in the future.
The fact that 88.10% of participants achieved personal best times is particularly pleasing, which emphasises the commitment and dedication of the participants. In addition, three season's best times were achieved, which shows that the swimmers are continuously working on their performances and improving.
In addition to the great performances, there was also some special news to announce: Three swimmers have qualified for the North German Championships on 15 June 2024 in Berlin.
Overall, the competition was a complete success.
